JAPANESE GREEN TEA-houjicha

IMG_3864.jpg

Hojicha is a tea made by roasting sencha, karigane and other tea leaves over high heat until the water is absorbed.
It is made from tea that has been omitted from the selection of sencha and other teas, so it is moderately priced and is popular as an everyday tea.
Due to the long exposure to sunlight, the tea is inherently low in caffeine and has a low bitterness.
