Brass Stainless Steel-Butter Knife
from the Toyama Prefecture (North Japan)

This Butter Knife is very sharp which allows you to cut butter easily, even when the butter comes right out of the refrigerator. The thin stainless steel blade is held by slim brass handle rivets that give the Butter Knife a metal feel with a good grip.
The Butter Knife is petite and has just the right weight to comfortably use it in daily life.

As you use the Butter Knife it will develop a patina since the brass handle slightly oxidizes over time. It will become your Butter Knife and thereby allow you to develop an enjoyable little routine when you enjoy butter.

Caring for you Brass Stainless Steel-Butter Knife 

  • Use an abrasive sponge if you wish to maintain a shiny golden brass look

  • Wipe-off excess water after washing; dry the knife

  • Do not put this knife in water for a long time; do not use a dishwasher

  • Wash the knife with lukewarm water and detergent

  • Please do not apply too much power when using the knife
